and Architectural Services
Building surveying and architectural work very often run side by side.
Clarke & Simpson have therefore expanded the building surveying
department by employing a qualified architect, Rob Pearce.
Roger Horton heads the building surveying department and
undertakes the wide variety of work that this area demands.
As well as traditional surveys on houses, Roger also undertakes
condition reports of agricultural and commercial properties.
As Diocesan surveyors, Clarke & Simpson also has the
responsibility for all the Diocesan parsonage houses, when
improvements, repair and maintenance works are undertaken.
We are also involved in maintenance and improvement works
on several Church of England funded primary schools.
Rob Pearce heads up the architectural department,
assisted by an architectural technician, David Hunting ACIAT,
and between them we can provide full technical drawing work,
CAD, planning advice and project management. This includes building
new houses from scratch, adding extensions and preparation of
planning applications.
