As part of the comprehensive service that Clarke & Simpson has to offer, a Building Surveying Department was opened in 2002.  Roger Horton, who heads the department, undertakes a wide variety of work that this area demands.  As well as the traditional survey, whether it be a Home Buyer’s Report or full building survey, on residential properties, Roger also undertakes condition reports on agricultural and commercial properties as well.  

As Diocesan surveyors, Clarke & Simpson also has the responsibility for all the Diocesan parsonage houses, when improvements, repair and maintenance works are undertaken. 

Other services that we can offer include technical drawing work, planning advice and project management of building work, whether it be adding an extension or building a new home from scratch. 

Specialist advice is often required for matters such as building defects, party wall legislation, schedules of condition and construction design and management regulations: all these can be undertaken by Roger and his team.
