For over 30 years, Clarke & Simpson has established itself as a leading regional auctioneer of farm machinery, specialising in both vintage and modern agricultural machinery and equipment. Our reputation has been built on the success of both on-farm Dispersal Auctions throughout the East of England and Collective Auctions based at the Auction Centre. The latter of which has grown year on year to become the largest ‘direct from farm’ farm machinery and plant auctions in the region. With over 2,500 lots per sale, our auctions are a significant event for buyers and sellers alike.

Hand in hand with auctions, we are specialist machinery valuers and can undertake Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors compliant valuations for a wide variety of purposes including Inheritance Tax, partnership division, business planning, matrimonial and on behalf of the Courts.

Since launching our Collective Sales in 2014, we have successfully sold over 45,000 lots, totalling an impressive £17million. Our Farm Machinery & Plant Auctions are held at our Campsea Ashe auction site, which is ideally located with excellent road links, ample parking, hardstanding for lots, and refurbished buildings. This prime location, combined with our substantial database of prospective buyers, experienced auctioneers, and our online bidding ensures that our lots are showcased both nationally and internationally, maximising their exposure and success.

Our Collective Sales are run as a timed online auction for farm machinery, regularly attracting over 1,200 bidders who place more than 25,000 bids throughout the process. With a selling rate of over 90%, our Collective Sales boast one of the highest success rates in the country, making Clarke & Simpson a trusted name in the auction of farm machinery and plant.

New for 2025, and set to become a permanent feature in the auction calendar,  was our dedicated live Classic and Vintage Sale which encompassed a wide range of vintage and classic tractors and cars, all sold from our Suffolk Auction Centre but to a worldwide audience.
